12/2/2023 0 Comments Rage quit yu gi oh"I play my traps from my hand! I play my deck from my deck!" It's just abuse of snowballing and while snowballing isn't really bad, but turn 1 or 2? Knowing that so many cards tutor for other cards, that should've been addressed ages ago. They changed rules when pendulum was out of control BECAUSE of special summoning abuse, but did nothing for general special summoning. All because of how exploitable its lack of real rules are.Ĭommunities dread having their games becoming like yu-gi-oh and refer to the action as "playing like yu-gi-oh".Įven with cards being banned/restricted (like a bunch of cards in the video) Konami has never addressed the game rules to the point tthe game as a "whole" is healthy. Type in "which tcg is the most broken" and Yu-gi-oh with be at the top of most list. It's laughed at for how unbalanced it is and the lack of care for so many years. It is known GLOBALLY that Yu-gi-oh is the most broken tcg of the popular tcg products. A game that requires more skill than starting-hand luck. Yu-gi-oh will then become a tcg with actual competitive integrity and away from broken instant-gratification. You don't even need to change text for anything and the game gets a nice soft reset it desperately needs. Normal and special summoning count for the limit (1 normal and 4 specials typically OR any combination that ends at 5). Summoning monsters each turn has a limit of 5 and can't be passed under any circumstances (like spells that give extra summons). What would greatly improve player interactions and completely remove "I need to run handtraps so I can stop the opponent from making an unbreakable board on TURN ONE: Most negation effects are free (the most important) and reusable every turn.
